Nokia 5.3, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy A51 updated with new security update

New updates at Nokia and Samsung

Several manufacturers have just started the update machine just before the weekend. This has happened at Nokia, for example. Jan reports to DroidApp that his Nokia 5.3 has been given a new update. It is October 2021 security update. It only brings a new patch for the security of Android and does not contain any new features as far as we know. The update for the Nokia 5.3 has a size of 25.61 MB.

Samsung Galaxy A51

Samsung has also made a newer patch available for the Galaxy A51. The smartphone, which is offered a quarterly update from the manufacturer, will receive a security update in October 2021. Raymond lets us know that his Galaxy A51 has downloaded the update today. Samsung has announced that no further changes have been made, as is clear from the changelog. So no new functions, but a new security patch.

Galaxy Note 10 Series

Math emailed us about an update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10+ will both be provided with a November 2021 security update, this is the most current update available for Android. Several dozen vulnerabilities have been solved with this. In addition to the patches from Google itself, there are also patches from Samsung.
