Nokia 5.3 and 5.4 both receive September update

Users of two Nokia devices are made happy with a new security update. The September patch is available for the Nokia 5.4 and the Nokia 5.3.

HMD Global had a hard time in recent months to provide all devices with updates. DroidApp previously published an extensive article about Nokia’s faltering update policy. The manufacturer promised to get better, and it seems that Nokia has it all back on track.

Richard and Jan announce that their Nokia 5.3 has received the September 2021 security update. This update has a size of 23 MB. As far as we know, no new features or major changes have been made with the update. The same update is also available for the Nokia 5.4, as becomes clear after a message from Wijtze and Han. The Nokia 5.4 was recently provided with the update to Android 11 and the update train is not yet standing still.
