No Forza or Gran Turismo, but this game is getting a new BMW!
Unexpectedly, instead of a Forza or Gran Turismo, this game gets this new BMW. BMW gives that credit to Rocket League.
You might think that car manufacturers prefer to see their latest cars in the most realistic racing games. And that there is a first for that. Nothing is less true. At least not when it comes to BMW. The German carmaker has chosen the Rocket League game as the first for the new BMW M240i.
Rocket League and BMW
Even before the market launch of the model, the car can already be raced virtually in Rocket League. That’s at the hands of BMW Esports. This party is title sponsor of the BMW Rocket League Open. An event within the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) to be held on November 6 and 7. A serious championship by the way with 25,000 dollar prize money. The winner of the championship will take home the top prize of $10,000.
Rocket League is an online game where players with vehicles have to drive a ball into the goal of the opponents. The matches take place in arenas and often lead to a crazy battle where one car often collides with the other.
From November 4 to 10, the Rocket League community will have the time to virtually purchase the M240i.
