Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – This is what awaits you in the switch hit
A new direct is here and with it a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo puts the turbo on again and presents a Hyrule that is hardly recognizable. Although the highly anticipated sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild uses the same map, pure chaos reigns in the sequel.
The trailer presents fans with a new look at the new villain of the Switch hit, which is actually just about Ganondorf can act. While he was still in pig form in the predecessor, the villain now even has a voice and declares war on Hyrule without further ado. Accordingly, many new and modified monsters can be seen.
But Link also has new toys and abilities to deal with them. The hero can even now Control cars and planes. With them, exploring the many floating islands should be much easier.

Link’s arsenal also includes homing arrows and his new cyborg arm, which is likely to be related to the new vehicles and aircraft. At the end of the trailer, Zelda also addresses a mysterious force that is supposed to help Link on his adventure.
The trailer gives hope that with Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo is not resting on the success of Breath of the Wild. Instead, the successor seems to bring some new ideas. But that is probably also reflected in the price. The Zelda hit is available for pre-order now and costs 69.99 euros (Source: Nintendo). That’s 10 euros more than Nintendo normally charges for its own blockbusters.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is due out on… May 12, 2023 appear for Nintendo Switch.
