NFC payments with Huawei mobile phones are already working. How to do it?

Smartphone users from Huawei they lost several useful features due to sanctions by the US government, including the ability to pay contactlessly using a mobile phone. However, Huawei, in cooperation with Curve, has prepared a solution that will allow contactless payments on all smartphones of the manufacturer even without Google services.

Contactless payments on Huawei devices will be enabled by the Curve Pay service

Contactless payments will be covered by the service Curve Paywhich works on the same principle as the Google Pay payment system. The process of registering and connecting the application is not complicated. Just install the store service application on your device Huawei AppGallery and add your credit cards to it. You can then pay contactlessly in all terminals with support for NFC payments and Mastercard cards. In addition, the service offers cashback of about 1% of the transaction amount.

It is also possible to add loyalty cards to the Curve Pay application, but it is not yet clear whether the company plans to add support for stores operating in Slovakia.

All manufacturer’s devices with NFC technology support will be supported, except for root devices. The smartphone will also need to be secured with a biometric, password, PIN or pattern. The service is currently only available in selected countries, but he will soon come to Slovakia as well.
