As part of its TUDUM: Worldwide Fan Event on September 25, Netflix also delighted game (or literary) fans with news about The Sorcerer and League of Legends. There were trailers, demonstrations, and short performances – for example, on the topic of that netflixovský the world of the Sorcerer will continue to expand. So what can spectators and players look forward to?
Third series, Nivellen, Vesemir and other projects
The sorcerer introduced himself at the very end of the event, but the program did not offer much. The whole segment was introduced by Geralt representative Henry Cavill and without a long delay he offered two samples from the second series. The first trailer captures the debate between Geralt and Nivellen, who may be familiar to readers from the short story The Grain of Truth from the first short story book The Last Wish. Nivellen, a monster described in the book as something between a bear, a lion and a boar, was portrayed by Kristofer Hivju, most of whom associate with Tormund of the Game of Thrones. The second example attracts a duel with a brux, which will be very well known to the players for a change. And to make matters worse, we got the first look at Vesemir performed by the Danish actor Kim Bodnia.

And while there is still some time left before the premiere date on December 17, creator and executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich immediately announced the third series, adding that the recent animated film about the young Vesemir The Sorcerer: The Wolf Dream will not be the only addition: “We will do much more with Netflix from this world. I confirm that we will make a second animated film with The Sorcerer and a cheerful family and children’s series. ”We also learned something new about the prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin, which deals with the theme of conjunction of spheres, so Andrzej Sapkowski as in the case of Geralt’s story. Instead of footage from the series, however, there was a behind-the-scenes look, when screenwriter Declan De Barra showed the premises of Arborfield Studios, where the series is being shot, as well as the Icelandic landscape, where the filmmakers also visited to shoot exteriors. The presentation then ended with a summary of the first series of the series, which even complemented the footage from the upcoming sequel. In any case, it is certain that Netflix is serious about the Sorcerer, and viewers can expect a number of other actions.
Arcane in November and with Czech dubbing
The animated series from the world of League of Legends finally arrives after the ups and downs of the coronary crisis and its launch is around the corner. The nine-part series will be divided into three acts with three episodes, with the first act coming on November 6 right after the final of the World Championship in League of Legends. The second act will arrive a week later – on 13 November – and the third final one another seven days later. The story revolves around the relationship and differences between game champions and sisters Jinx and Vi, respectively. conflict between Piltover and Zaun. It is now known that some other champions will also appear in the series, such as Jayce, Caitlyn, Heimerdinger or Viktor, other characters are Silco, Vander or Mel. Most of them also received their own posters a few days ago.
However, the dabers, whose voices can be known to the players from the game, will not take the place, in this case the creators reached for more resounding names. In the original you can hear Hailee Steinfeld as Vi (in Cia Court) and Ellu Purnell as Jinx (in Sarah Williams), the cast is complemented by Kevin Alejandro (Jayce), Jason Spisak (Silco), Harry Lloyd (Viktor), Katie Leung ( Caitlyn), Toks Olagundoye (Mel) or JB Blanc (Vander). The novelty is that the series will also have a Czech version, as the latest trailer was also released in Czech dubbed. However, as in the English original, the creators decided not to take the Czech dubbing of the game itself into account, and it is already clear from the trailer that there have been changes in the cast.
The series boasts an interesting and impressive animated stylization, which is backed by the Fortiche Productions studio. Coincidentally, they have collaborated with Riot, coincidentally on the Get Jinxed trailer, which is just one of the protagonists of the series, or on videos with Ekk or the music video K / DA – POP / STARS. No wonder Riot still praises the collaboration, for example, creative director Christian Linke emphasizes the need for strong animation in conjunction with the exceptional story of Jinx and Vi: Fortiche, it will give players a rich insight into the world of League of Legends. Just wait for what this new connection will bring.
