NewJeans new music video ETA was shot on iPhone 14 Pro
K-pop group NewJeans released the music video for their new music ETA and there is a particularity: it was shot entirely with an iPhone 14 Pro. There is also a highlighting of the functions of iOS.
As you can imagine, the director did not choose the iPhone 14 Pro at random. He turned to the smartphone rather than “real” cameras because Apple has been there. Indeed, it is a collaboration. “In collaboration with Apple, this clip was shot entirely on the iPhone 14 Pro”can we read in the description on YouTube.
There is also a mention at the end of the clip which reads: “Ordered by Apple. Additional software and hardware used. Professional edition. Third party waterproof case used ».
In the process, Apple offers an advertisement with excerpts from the clip ETA by NewJeans. It’s a way to highlight certain features with the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera, such as Action mode.
As a reminder, Apple and NewJeans already know each other. Indeed, the K-pop group participated in the opening of the Apple Store Gangnam in South Korea. Those onsite were able to experience spatial audio in a limited-time studio with NewJeans’ band.
