Google has released a new update for the Google Home app. With the latest version we see a series of improvements and optimizations along with a new design. In addition, you gain insight into your historical actions that have been carried out.

A while ago, Google announced a new design for the Home app. As of now, Google has actually started rolling out the update to everyone. The application is divided into two tabs. On the home screen you see all the known options, such as switching on your smart lighting and the other smart devices. New is the ‘Feed’ that is added to the application.

The new feed serves as a timeline to help you understand the history of notifications and events in Google Home. Also, by tapping on ‘History’, you can go back in time and see what happened on which day. You can filter on intermediate data and type of notification. The update for the Google Home app is activated for each user via a server-side switch.
