Resident Evil 8: The Story Behind It
In the latest part of the Resident Evil franchise you slip into the role of Ethen Winters again. After you escaped Heisenberg from Resident Evil 7, you started a family with Mia. Luck did not last long, however, because in Resident Evil 8 you make your way to the castle to get there to look for your kidnapped daughter. Sounds exciting? It seems to be, at least that’s what the latest trailer and published gameplay for the game promise.
As usual from the previous parts, you can expect many different opponents in Resident Evil 8 and everyone needs their own strategy to bring them to their knees. In general, shooting is important as always, but you should also learn to block quickly.
In addition to the battles, there are numerous items and ammunition waiting for you that you can and have to craft in order to advance in the game. A dealer named Duke will surely help you with this.
When will Resident Evil 8 be released?
You don’t have to wait that long anymore. Resident Evil: Village appears on May 7, 2021 for PC, PS4, Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X / S and PS5.
You can choose between four different editions:

- Collector’s Edition
- RE 7 + 8 bundle

Resident Evil 8: The Demo
If you ever want to get a taste of the game, you can from today do – at least the PS5 owners. All others have to be patient a little longer. Producer Pete Fabiano didn’t give an exact date, but the time window Spring 2021 called.
What else does the Resident Evil universe have to offer in 2021?
Resident Evil celebrates its 25th birthday on March 22nd. In celebration of this, Capcom announced Re: Verse Resident Evil at. A game that includes all of the favorites from the last few parts of the series. When you buy Resident Evil 8, you get the game free of charge.
In addition to the games, the latest animation film for the franchise was also mentioned. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a 3D CGI animation film that will be released on Netflix in 2021. An exact date has not yet been announced. We’ll keep you up to date.
