New smartwatch, ANC headphones and mini PC are coming

At a major launch event, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi announced a whole range of new products. Highlights are the new Xiaomi Watch S2 smartwatch and the Xiaomi Buds 4 ANC headphones. A first mini PC with an Intel processor is also on offer.

Xiaomi: launch event with many products

At its event in China, Xiaomi not only presented the Xiaomi 13 series and MIUI 14, but also a few other products. So now stands among other things Successor to the Xiaomi Watch S1 smartwatch ready, alongside new in-ear headphones. For the first time, the manufacturer is also venturing into the field of mini PCs with an Intel processor.

Leather and silicone are available as materials for the bracelet, and the case is made of stainless steel. An important innovation concerns health functions. Among other things, the smart watch can determine body composition and body fat percentage. There are also 100 sport modes.

Initially, the watch will only be available in China, but it will be launched in Europe later. Xiaomi has not revealed when this will be the case. In China, the Xiaomi Watch S2 costs the equivalent between 136 and 150 euros (Source: Xiaomi on Weibo).

Xiaomi Buds 4: New ANC headphones presented

The Xiaomi Buds 4 have one active noise cancellation (ANC) and understand Bluetooth 5.3 alongside 360 ​​degree spatial audio. The battery life is up to six hours, together with the charging case it should be up to 30 hours.

In China, there are the ANC headphones for the equivalent of 95 euros in the colors Salt Lake White, Moon Shadow Black and Wilderness Green. It is still unclear whether they will also be offered outside of China.

Xiaomi Mini Host: Mini PC for 500 euros

At the Xiaomi Mini Host is a 12th generation Intel Core processor included, in addition to 16 GB of working memory and 512 GB of SSD storage. A dedicated graphics card no longer fit into the small case. Windows 11 is preinstalled. Two HDMI and two Thunderbolt 4 ports are available, in addition to three USB 3.2 and one LAN port.

Xiaomi’s mini PC goes to China for around 500 euros into trade. The manufacturer is still keeping to itself whether and when the Xiaomi Mini Host will also be available in this country.
