‘New Samsung Galaxy S23 FE comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1’

Samsung is once again in the news with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The special Fan Edition will be equipped with a Qualcomm processor. Previously, the rest of the S23 series was also fully equipped with a Snapdragon chipset.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is on the schedule this time, unlike a Fan Edition of the S22 series. After a long time, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 FE a few years ago. In our Galaxy S20 FE review, the device immediately managed to get a lot of attention. Almost everything was right about this device, it was a success. This success was not continued by the Galaxy S21 FE. That device came on the market a long time later due to chip shortages, and it only took a few weeks for the S22 series to be announced. As a result, all interest went to that series. The performance and price of the S21 FE also played a role.

Samsung would make the new Galaxy S23 FE pop again. First of all, the processor must contribute to this. The high end chipset; we should see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in that device. This is produced with the help of TSMC, where the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 also comes from. This has already shown its good side in our Galaxy S23+ review and Galaxy S23 Ultra test. Among other things in the field of battery life, which is a day and night difference with the Galaxy S22 series.

Samsung does not opt for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in order to reduce the price of the S23 FE. In addition, the use of the latest high-end chipset could tackle the success of the S23 series. When the new Samsung is coming is not yet known.
