New renderings reveal a Galaxy A72 clone, but without a jack
Several weeks before the official release of the Galaxy A73 5G, we already know the design of Samsung’s mid-range smartphone. The renderings reveal the smartphone from all angles, and confirm the disappearance of the jack.
Shortly after unveiling the first renderings of the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G, OnLeaks has now released new renderings of the Galaxy A73 5G. Like the other models in the range, the smartphone has the same design as the. You might almost think that this is a clone of the previous generation, but Samsung presumably has deprived of this new model of a characteristic yet very appreciated by a certain public: the jack.
Indeed, on the lower edge, we notice the absence of a jack, as was also the case on the renderings of the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. Only the Galaxy A13 5G whose renderings have also been unveiled seems to retain the port.
What do we know about the Galaxy A73 5G?
Samsung’s Galaxy A53 5G to be powered by a 750G Snapdragon, as was the case with the Galaxy A72 5G last year. The processor will be accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage depending on the configuration chosen. At the front, we will find a 6.7-inch Full HD + AMOLED 120 Hz display, against only 90 Hz on the previous generation. We also know that it will be powered by 5000mAh battery.
On the photo side, we will find for the first time a 108 MP sensor on a Galaxy A. The main sensor will be supported by three other cameras, probably including an ultra-wide-angle sensor, a macro sensor and a depth sensor. The selfie part will be provided by a 32 MP sensor placed in a small punch in the center of the screen.
Like the Galaxy S21 FE which should be released by January 4, Galaxy A73 5G should launch with Android 11, rather than Android 12. However, Samsung recently started updating its smartphones to the new One UI 4 overlay, which is based on Android 12. The Galaxy A73 5G is expected to receive the Android 12 update just a few weeks after its release. exit, since the other smartphones in the range will also be updated at the start of 2022.
