POCO has released two budget phones, which should appeal to the price-conscious ‘techies’. It concerns the POCO M5 and M5s, both with a large 5,000 mAh battery and you can now buy them temporarily for an attractive price.
POCO M5 and M5s
The POCO M5s is the most powerful of the bunch and this device has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, a MediaTek Helio G95 processor and a 5000mAh battery that can last a month in standby mode, according to the company. A higher refresh rate is not available for the screen, but there is an IP53 certificate for dust and water resistance.
The Poco M5s gets a 64 MP main camera on the back, along with an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP lens for taking macro photos and depth photos. On the front is a 13 MP selfie camera.
In addition, the phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner on the side. The POCO M5s runs on MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12 and the storage memory is expandable with a microSD card.
Remarkably enough, the POCO M5 comes with a higher refresh rate for its 6.58-inch Full HD + screen and it is at 90 Hz. This is an LCD panel. The device will receive the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset from OPPO, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro camera for close-ups. This device also contains a large 5000mAh battery and the MIUI 13 as a software shell.
