WhatsApp is working on a new navigation bar for its app. This variant not only looks different, but also gets a new place in WhatsApp. In recent years, many WhatsApp users have asked for a similar navigation bar as in WhatsApp for iOS. That bar can be found at the bottom of the app, while the bar in the Android app is still at the top. Apparently, WhatsApp is listening to this feedback and working to implement these important changes soon.

We saw earlier that WhatsApp will put the new navigation bar at the bottom of the app. This allows you to reach the different options much better, especially if you often operate your phone with one hand. In addition, the Communities are more visible, not only via an icon, but also with a text label. So you will soon see a new navigation bar at the bottom of WhatsApp. There you will successively find Chats, Communities, Status and Calls.
