iPhone SE 2022 in trial production

It has long been rumored that Apple is developing a new version of the popular iPhone SE. According to the reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the tech giant would like to release the phone in the first quarter of 2022.

A quick launch of the iPhone SE is now even more plausible, now that the Chinese websites MyDrivers and ITHome have information that Apple will start trial production of the third-generation iPhone SE very soon. This is the final stage before an iPhone is mass-produced.

ITHome adds that several vendors are getting ready to ship the iPhone SE 2022 parts. With that, it looks like Apple is on track to launch the budget-friendly iPhone in the spring. This will probably happen in late March or early April.

What’s new?

According to the latest rumors, little changes in the appearance of the iPhone SE. Again, it has a 4.7-inch LCD screen with home button. There is also once again a single camera lens on the back, although Apple does improve the sensor. The company may also add new features, including Night Mode.

Still, there are good reasons to wait for the new iPhone SE – if you want to buy one. Apple will probably put a powerful A15 Bionic chip in it, which we already know from the latest iPhone 13 (Pro). The current SE has an A13 Bionic chip that is two years older. In addition, the latest iPhone SE gets 5G support for the first time.

The current iPhone SE costs 489 euros and Apple is expected to stick to this price. So in the spring you will have a better iPhone SE, for the same amount of money. If you are looking for a new SE, then it is worth waiting a little longer.
