‘New high-end Nokia in November; does it come with HarmonyOS from Huawei?’
We have been waiting a long time for a new high-end smartphone from manufacturer Nokia. However, the manufacturer keeps delaying the release, but now there is more information. HMD Global is set to announce a new flagship in November.
Nokia announcement in November
After months of delay, more is finally becoming clear about a new high-end smartphone from Nokia. HMD Global will announce a new smartphone this year, which can be placed in the higher segment. There have been rumors about a Nokia 9.3 PureView for a long time, but it is not known whether the brand will also use this name for the new device. In recent times, the brand has already announced the G and X series and we estimate the chance that the brand will also use a letter for this.
According to Gizchina’s colleagues, HMD Global is planning to present a new smartphone on November 11. That date is also Singles Day; an important day in China. Whether this means that the device will only be released in China is unknown.
HarmonyOS?
There are also rumors about the unannounced Nokia X60. HMD Global would plan to provide this smartphone with HarmonyOS for this device. This is Huawei’s own operating system and according to Taiwanese media, Nokia would soon also want to use this OS. This would apply to both the Nokia X60 and the Nokia X60 Pro. Whether this will actually happen remains to be seen. HarmonyOS does not support Google Play Services. If this message is correct, it seems more obvious to us that Nokias with Harmony OS only appear in China.
