New Google Wallpapers are available for your phone

The Wallpapers app features a hefty new collection of wallpapers for your Android device. Among other things, wallpapers have been added that you may know from Pixel devices. For example, the default wallpaper of the Pixel 5a is included. But beware: this system app is not available on all Android devices. It may be that you can find it in the Play Store, but cannot download it.

Backgrounds

The Backgrounds app (also known as Google Wallpapers) launched in 2016 for all Android devices and now features a bunch of fresh new additions. Cover images have been changed in six categories:

• Art: Love, Pixel
• Cityscapes: Cityscapes
• Landscapes: Photo by VictorAerden
• Life: Life
• Solid colors: Soft Violet
• Textures: Textures

Pixel 5a wallpaper

The Love, Pixel wallpaper is that of the Pixel 5a, fully matching the dark green color of the 2021 device. If you have a Pixel phone, you will notice that the cover for the Community Lens has also been updated. Furthermore, little has changed there, because many new wallpapers have already been added on the day the Google Pixel 7 appeared. If you want to see them, you can download them via 9to5Google.

It is not very often that the Wallpapers app is provided with new images. Many people often use a self-made photo as a background, but if you prefer an official Google wallpaper, then you know that you now have the choice of even more new looks for your smartphone.
