With the latest Netflix feature, you can specifically log out individual devices from your account. This is for security and control over your account. You can also change your password directly on the new page.

Netflix has a new one featured, which allows users to log out of their account on certain devices. On the one hand, the feature is used for security, on the other hand, you can specifically kick out people who have previously shared the account with you.

If, for example, you have logged into the smart TV in a hotel and forgot to log out before you left, you can use the new page to log out only from there. Previously, you could only log out from all devices at once.

On the new page you can also see if someone is using your account without your permission. You can see which device it is, when something was last viewed and with which profile. In addition, at which location the device has logged in. If you do not know the device and location, you can log out of it and change the password directly on the page.

Of course, you can also use the feature to lock out people you once voluntarily logged into your account. For example, if you share an account with your ex, you can now log them out without having to disconnect from all devices directly. The new feature is available on the web and on iOS and Android devices.

In addition to the new feature, Netflix still has some hidden features that can customize and improve the streaming platform. For example, you can display professional ratings from IMDB via a plugin.

You can also share Netflix streams with friends and host a Netflix party. If you can’t keep your hands off Netflix at work, there is a program that you can use to watch series inconspicuously. With the Netflix Hangouts plugin, you can even fake a video conference.

The new Netflix subscription with advertising also started at the beginning of November. This is especially useful if you want to save some money on the subscription. Because here you only pay 4.99 euros a month, but you have to watch an advertisement every now and then.

On average, you get about five minutes of advertising per hour. You see the spots at the start of a film or a series and right in the middle.
