new android tablet on october 6

Nokia has planned an announcement on October 6. It now becomes clear that the manufacturer will present a new tablet on this day.

Nokia with its own tablet

It was previously announced that HMD Global will hold a press conference on October 6 to announce a new Nokia product. Due to all the rumors, it was actually assumed that the manufacturer would show the Nokia G50 here, but that was already announced last week. Then the question arose; what can we expect then?

This becomes quite clear in a teaser leading up to the event. Nokia will come here with its own tablet. This is not the first tablet with Android. In 2014, Microsoft released the Nokia N1 in partnership with Foxconn. This aluminum tablet had an 8 inch screen and ran Android Lollipop. Furthermore, it was one of the first devices with a USB-C connection. In 2016, the brand released the Nokia X, which was also equipped with Android.

Nothing is actually known about this tablet. For example, information about the name for the device is missing. Earlier, the name Nokia T20 went around in the rumor circuit, where the ‘T’ of course stands for tablet. In the teaser, the brand talks about “Everything you’d expect from a Nokia phone in a tablet. Coming 6.10.21”. So we will hear more details next month. DroidApp will of course keep you informed!

Do you like a Nokia tablet, or do you let it pass you by? We would like to hear it! Leave a comment below this post.
