The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has been in the rumor mill for months and has now been officially presented. As expected, it is an absolute top smartphone that is sold at a comparatively low price.

The wait is finally over. With the Edge 40 Pro, Motorola has officially unveiled a long-awaited top smartphone. Basically, all previous rumors about the equipment and the price have been confirmed. So is the Motorola cell phone with a 6.67 inch OLED display equipped, which operates at up to 165 Hz and thus puts all the competition in its pocket. Samsung probably wants to upgrade the Galaxy S24 Ultra to 144 Hz. But Motorola would already surpass that.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A new one is coming 50 MP main camera used to produce better photos. There is also a 2x telephoto lens with 12 MP and a 50 MP ultra wide angle. The mobile phone thus covers all possible uses. A 60 MP camera is installed on the front. It remains to be seen how good the image quality really is in the end.

The battery of the Motorola Edge 40 Pro measures 4,600mAh and can be recharged extremely quickly with 125 watts. Charging works wirelessly with 15 watts. Reverse charging is supported with 5 watts. The operating system is Android 13 with a customized interface. Motorola has those too IP68 certification do not forget. This means that there are absolutely no disadvantages compared to the sometimes much more expensive competition.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro costs 899 euros and can now also be ordered in Germany (look at Motorola). For the price you get the 12 GB version with 256 GB of internal memory.
