Netflix too expensive? Apple is giving you 2 months of film and series fun
Streaming is getting more expensive, whether on Netflix, Amazon or Disney+. Everyone wants more and has increased prices in recent months. Gifts are welcome there. How good that Apple is giving you 2 months of film and series fun these days.
Everything is getting more expensive, including streaming. Netflix, Amazon, Disney + and actually Apple have recently increased their prices. A month of Apple TV+ now costs EUR 6.99 instead of EUR 4.99. But you may not have to pay them, at least not for the next two months.
Apple TV+ instead of Netflix and Co: 2 months free, that’s how it works
On the occasion of a new documentary (Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me), Apple is giving away two months of access to Apple TV+. So you can save almost 14 euros in total. Easy visit this link from Apple and secure the two free months.
Apple TV+ is worth it for this and more:
But there is a catch: We can’t tell you if you qualify if you previously subscribed to Apple TV+. Apple always likes to leave this point a little open. It worked for me, for example, and I had previously had a similar trial subscription through MediaMarkt-Saturn until mid-October. The activation failed for colleague Peter Hryciuk. It probably depends on how often and in what period of time you have already used such codes. Ergo: Just try it. If it works, you can be happy, otherwise don’t get angry and just try again with the next action.
Trial subscription can be canceled beforehand
Important and important to note: If the trial subscription is not canceled before it expires, it will be extended and 6.99 euros per month will be due. Unlike previous trials, you can cancel now and still have access to Apple TV+ until the expiration date. Previously, access was blocked immediately after the termination, which is fortunately no longer the case.
Incidentally, Apple TV+ does not only run on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV. The Apple TV app is also available on the web and on various smart TVs, along with the Fire TV Stick from Amazon. Even if the offer is still smaller than Netflix, Apple impresses above all with the quality and has often received awards for it. It even won the Oscar for best film in 2022.
