Netflix now lets you play 5 games via the app: this is how it works
Video service Netflix can no longer only be used for movies and series. The latest app version adds games for you to play. There is a choice of five different games that you can play, just in the Netflix app.
Netflix games
It was previously announced that Netflix would make games available in the mobile apps, and the start has now been made. Netflix subscribers can use the Android app to play one of the five games. You don’t have to pay extra for this, and there are no ads that appear. It also does not matter which subscription you purchase from Netflix.
As of today, the following games can be played via the Netflix app:
- Stranger Things: 1984
- Stranger Things 3: The Game
- Shooting Hoops
- Card Blast
- Teeter Up
The games are available worldwide, but not available on child profiles. Some of the five games require an internet connection; some also work offline. The games are loaded in the set language, although it will be in English if no other languages of a game are available. The games can be found in the Netflix app via the special tab, where you can then choose the game.
It may take a while before the games are visible to every user.
