Netflix makes a mistake with Breaking Bad, have you noticed?

Chances are very slim that you noticed. But Netflix made a mistake with Breaking Bad.

It’s been a long time since the Breaking Bad series came out. The popular series ran through AMC from 2008 to 2013. You can also watch the show on Netflix. You probably never noticed, but Netflix made a mistake with Breaking Bad. That is what director Rian Johnson notes.

He shares his frustration on Twitter. For viewers like you and me, the mistake will mean little. However, I can imagine that as a director you would rather not have seen this.

What is going on?

If you go through the range of Netflix you will see posters of all kinds of films and series. It’s no different with Breaking Bad. However, the chosen thumbnail of the American streaming service contains a mistake. The picture shows the character Walter White with two pawns around him.

However, those orange pawns do not belong to the scene and cannot be seen in the series. These were placed there for the environment to ensure the safety of actor Bryan Cranston. It’s unclear why Netflix is using this shot of Breaking Bad in this way. The streaming service probably didn’t even notice.

Rian Johnson directed three episodes of Breaking Bad. It is not known whether Netflix will fix the error after the grumbles from the director on Twitter.
