Nearly 70% of readers do not want OnePlus and Oppo to leave
69 percent of Androidworld readers would mind if OnePlus and Oppo left the Netherlands. Rumors circulated about the two phone brands earlier this week. The sisters would leave from various European countries, including the Netherlands. 48 percent do not like that and currently even have an Oppo or OnePlus device. Another 21 percent would also mind, even if they do not own a smartphone from the brands.
Leave Oppo and OnePlus
Theo_de_Ripper doesn’t want it: “Yes, because my successor will probably be a OnePlus again.” Dirk Wuestenberg also explains what he would miss: “The only thing I miss is their fast charging, something where samsung lags far behind.” Ijskast has yet another reason to be sad when the O’s leave the Netherlands: “A little competition never hurts. Otherwise, Samsung will become too big again with Android. We have little use.”
At the same time, there are also people who don’t think it’s such a disaster. 17 percent believe that the brands do not bring enough news and should therefore leave, and 8 percent have another reason not to be sad about a possible departure. hans belder, for example: “Chinese junk, can store and use everything about your behavior”, or Annunaki100: “There are plenty of brands to be had here, often the only attractive price is the price. Maybe for youth, but I’m not that into hopping to another. Have had nokia for years, they are top.”
AW Poll
6 percent say they do not know the brands well and therefore do not know what to answer. Doesn’t matter, because according to Oppo and OnePlus, current business will continue. On the other hand, they left some room for interpretation in their statement, so we will continue to monitor the matter.
