‘My toddler cried during the entire flight to northern Spain’

If we could predict how a child will react to a two-hour flight, we would certainly make different choices. But until then, blunders still happen.
Lotte (38): “We didn’t want to fly too far with a toddler, so we chose northern Spain – we thought that shouldn’t be a problem.
“When taking off baby Pim, all the stops went through”
But when taking off, baby Pim went through all the stops. He started screaming and didn’t stop.

Flying with a toddler
“He has problems with his ears,” said an older woman in the row in front of us. She was right. Pim cried the whole flight, we got deadly looks from other passengers. The next morning Pim had two running ears. I was so sorry that we didn’t just book a house in the Netherlands.”
The coffee drama
Minke (37): “Sep (5) cannot sit still for a second. So I don’t know exactly what I was thinking when I left that full cup of coffee on my folding table in the plane unprotected. I do know that I cursed a little too heartily (and audible to all passengers) when he cut the cup and I was dripping with coffee. Of course I wore a white blouse and light blue jeans. And the flight lasted ‘only’ seven hours.”
