When the school calls, eighty scenarios flash through your mind, none of them good. Kim (40), mother of Rowan (6) and Norah (2) knows all about it.
“After a day’s work it turned out that my voicemail had been left. Rowan’s school principal, then four: “It’s all right now, but we’ve been through something today with Rowan.”
Never a dull moment
As it turned out: Rowan had run away from the schoolyard with a classmate. Half the school staff searched the entire neighborhood with many ditches and a busy road. The adventurers had also intended to cross that road, but were spotted by a woman who alerted the police.
