‘My daughter used to tell big stories about my dates at school’

I was therefore very surprised when the teacher of my middle spoke to me in the schoolyard. Whether or not I had a new boyfriend? Not that it was any of her business, but my daughter told quite intense stories and the teacher wanted to check with me if everything was going well.

‘I have a different dad every week’, she had been telling her friends for some time. She had also named all kinds of names and oh yes, one was a criminal. So embarrassing, I wanted to text the parents of those friends that if their child told this at home, they shouldn’t believe it.
My daughter seemed to get her inspiration from a YouTube video, she reluctantly admitted. Since then, she can only watch cartoons on Netflix.”

Leah (39), mother of two daughters aged 9 and 5.
“My eldest’s hockey coach is young, handsome, sleek and also very nice. I myself am nicely married and not a flirt at all, but I must confess that it is not a punishment to stand on the line. That applies to more mothers and recently I let slip to one of them that Mike is really a very hot guy. I didn’t realize my daughter heard that.
“My mother thinks you are very hot”
“You know,” she said at the next practice, when I was discussing a few things with Mike, “my mom thinks you’re really hot.” When I think about it, I still turn red.”
