Motorola is working on new high-end smartphone with 200MP camera and 125W charging

We should soon see a new powerhouse of a high-end smartphone at Motorola. The manufacturer comes in the news with the device and if the reports are correct, we get a device with everything on it.

Motorola ‘Frontier’

A new rumor is circulating about a new Motorola phone. The name of the device is still unknown, although the rumor circuit is now talking about a device with the code name ‘Frontier’. The smartphone should be placed in the high-end segment and go further than the previously presented Motorola Edge X30.

According to the German source, the unannounced Motorola will have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone comes with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The internal memory should be 128GB/256GB and of course there is Android 12. The new Motorola smartphone also comes with a large camera. The front camera is said to have a resolution of 60 megapixels. On the back, a triple camera should take care of the beautiful photos. This includes a 200-megapixel main lens, assisted by a 50MP and a 12MP lens, presumably a wide-angle and telephoto lens.

Then there is also news about charging. Although information about the battery capacity is still lacking; it must be able to charge very quickly. Wired, the charging speed should be 125 watts, wireless at 50 watts. It is currently unknown when the new Motorola will be announced, but it should be sometime in the third quarter of 2022. It is still too early to say whether the telephone will also come to the Netherlands.
