Motorola is preparing a new folding smartphone. What will it offer?

The market for folding equipment is expanding every year with new, interesting models. Motorola was one of the first to bring a capable folding smartphone to the world of technology, namely the Motorola Razr from 2019. A year later, it introduced the successor to the Razr 5G and is now preparing the third generation of its flexible devices, according to the GSMAren portal.

The novelty was revealed directly by the Lenovo manufacturer, which owns the Motorola brand. He promises that the new Razr will be more powerful than its predecessors and will have a better user interface. In addition, it is rumored that it will have a more beautiful design.

It is also likely that it will only be available in China at first, which is a change compared to the first two folding models. Maybe the company decided to do so due to the high demand for folding smartphones in China. In addition, with fast-growing competition, it needs to actively push its devices to the forefront.

Competition in the folding smartphone market is growing

It is still unclear when and in which region the new Razr will visit. However, it is expected to be available in other parts of the world, where Samsung’s folding smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 – dominate. OPPO with the Find N model or Huawei with the newly introduced P50 Pocket smartphone recently became a competitor for Motorola.
