Motorola Edge, Edge+ and Edge 20 receive Android 12 update

Motorola has kicked off the rollout of Android 12 for multiple devices. The smartphones that are offered the new update are the Motorola Edge, Edge+ and the Edge 20. The update brings a lot of innovations with it.

Android 12 for Motorola Edge devices

In the Netherlands, among others, manufacturer Motorola has started to distribute the update to Android 12. This is the most recent Android version available to the general public. The new update adds a lot of new features. The update is now being rolled out for the Motorola Edge and Edge+. Both models appeared on the market in 2020 with Android 10, and as it looks now this is (one of) the last update(s) to be released for the two.

The update is also ready for the Motorola Edge 20, Marco and Richard let DroidApp know. New here is of course the Material You interface that is being implemented. The interface colors can be taken over from the set background. Furthermore, more work has been done on privacy options; allowing you to give an app access to your approximate location. The device will remain on the March patch.
