Motorola Edge 20, Oppo Find X3 Pro and Nothing Phone 1 get new update

A number of devices are being updated with a new update. For the Motorola Edge 20 and the Oppo Find X3 Pro we see a new security patch; with the Nothing Phone 1 we see a number of improvements.

Updates coming: Oppo Find X3 Pro

Various models from various manufacturers will now receive a new update. We start with the news from Leon, about the update for the Oppo Find X3 Pro. This smartphone will be updated with security update July 2022. Together with this newer security patch, Oppo also promises to have addressed some problems. For example, a problem with regard to the SIM cards is tackled, although it is not stated what this means exactly. With a size of 882MB, it is also a major update.

Motorola Edge 20

There is also a new update for the Motorola Edge 20. Richard reports a new update for his smartphone, with the security level still at July. The changelog that describes the 130MB major update does not report much news. Except for bug fixes and stability improvements.

Nothing Phone 1

The recently released Nothing Phone 1 also gets a new update. Again, no new security patch, but a series of new improvements that have been added to Nothing OS 1.1.2. We have added the changelog with the improvements below;

  • New toggle to turn fingerprint unlock icon on and off.
  • Now automatically turns off at nighttime to prolong battery life.

Other improvements:

  • Improved charging performance for third party adapters.
  • Resolved Bluetooth codec issue.
  • Other minor UI and bug fixes
  • General stability improvements.
