The number of Tikkies sent and paid is now 100 million. ABN Amro, the bank behind payment service Tikkie, reports this to the Telegraaf. The service was released by the bank in 2016, and many banks now have their own alternative, such as ING’s Payment Requests.

One in three Tikkies, about 37 percent, is fixed within five minutes. The most frequently mentioned descriptions are groceries or food. The busiest days were June 28 and 25.
