Screen issues on Galaxy S20 series

The three models of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series seem to be dealing with screen problems. The reports about this are circulating on the internet and relate to the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. A random green or pink line is visible across the screen for affected users. With several owners, this line would take up more screen space over time. Complaints about these problems keep piling up. Samsung itself has not yet responded to the case.

The story reminds us of the messages that appeared in early 2021. Even then there were screen problems with the Galaxy S20 models, where devices became unusable because the screen became unreadable. While some users claim it came with the latest update, another group reports that the problem was before that.

It is unclear whether this is a hardware or software problem. If it is a hardware problem, it can only be solved by replacing the screen. Since the device has been on the market for more than two years, and you get a two-year warranty on your smartphone, this can be an unpleasant surprise if it is not covered by the warranty. In that case, it is hoped that Samsung will investigate the problem further and may be able to arrange something in this regard.
