Microsoft to release limited-edition Gucci-themed Xbox Series X

If you like the Gucci brand and at the same time want to treat yourself to an Xbox Series X for Christmas, for example, you can kill two birds with one stone. On the condition, however, that you allow yourself to spend 10,000 dollars, or approximately 8,740 euros, on this fad.

Microsoft and Gucci have effectively teamed up to create this Gucci-themed Xbox Series X which will be released in just 100 units starting next Wednesday, November 17.

Gucci isn’t the only fashion brand to flirt with the world of video games

For $ 10,000, you’ll get two Gucci-themed Xbox controllers, an unspecified subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and an Xbox-branded suitcase to carry the console and controllers. This limited edition can be purchased from the website of Gucci as well as in some brand stores.

Note that this Xbox on the Gucci theme is the latest creation of the fashion brand in terms of games. Previously, Gucci had designed virtual sneakers for VRChat and Roblox, a Gucci-themed surreal garden for Roblox and partnered with the games organization 100 Thieves. But Gucci is not the only fashion brand to interfere in video games. Indeed, Louis Vuitton also designed skins for League of Legends in 2019 and Balenciaga also worked with Epic Games to dress the characters in Fortnite.
