Microsoft offer feast: One killer bargain in particular
Microsoft is launching an event full of offers, most of which are a bit mediocre. But one bargain pops out.
In honor of E3, Microsoft is launching a week-long promotions fest. In the Benelux there is mainly one solid bargain that cannot compete with the regular discount for games. You can now get three months of Xbox Game Pass for cheap, including the more than 100 games that are available through it. These are the best deals from the Deals Unlocked event.
Microsoft E3 Deals
By far the best offer that Microsoft has been offering since yesterday is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for a mere euro. That’s it. The offer only applies to new customers, which is a bit of a missed opportunity. Anyway, the subscription is good for over a hundred games, unlimited to play, including Xbox Live Gold, EA Play, Bethesda games and streaming to PC and Android smartphones.
In all fairness, the rest of the offerings are a bit sparse. More than 500 games are on offer in the United States, here in the Benelux only a handful. Customers in the US also get a discount on hardware and some brand new toppers such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal.
Still, there are some solid bargains, which we list below. Microsoft is clearly mainly giving offers on Gold Edition games during the event; games that are much more expensive than the standard variant in exchange for extra in-game content.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – €41.99 (€28 off)
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection – $19.99 ($20 off)
- Watch Dogs: Legion – Gold Edition – €49.99 (€50 off)
- Battlefield 4 – €4.99 (€15 discount)
- Hunt: Showdown – Gold Edition – €31.49 (€38.50 discount)
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gold Edition – €69.99 (€30 off)
