Microsoft itself is going to remove Edge from Windows

If people are too lazy to take action, Microsoft will do it itself and Edge will disappear from Windows.

If you hadn’t understood the memo yet. It is quite dangerous to use an outdated version of an internet browser. It is food for hackers to take advantage of. The outdated versions no longer have up-to-date security, so malicious parties often have free rein.

You will be surprised how many people continue to use the internet on such an outdated browser. For example old people who have no idea and never update. That is why Microsoft itself is taking action. Microsoft will deliberately remove outdated versions of Edge from Windows computers starting April 13. The American tech company can uninstall the old version with a security update that you install as usual. The Chromium version of Google comes in its place.

In this way, Microsoft prevents people from continuing to use the old Edge on their Windows computer. The tech company announced in August 2020 that it would stop supporting Microsoft Edge Legacy. As of March 9, 2021, that support will end and there will be no more security updates for this version. From April 13, your computer will automatically say goodbye to the old Edge and you will therefore receive that new variant based on Chromium, Microsoft said in a tech community post.
