With Xbox Game Pass, there’s usually no shortage of games. The subscription service is now launching a new offering that will benefit PC gamers. We tell you how you can try the entire library for free.

Xbox Game Pass is launching a new offering that lets players try out the subscription service. You can the mighty Try library for PCwithout having to pay a single cent. All you have to do is grab a few friends.
The offer works as follows: Each Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscriber can send up to five friends a 14-day trial version of the PC Game Pass. This does not apply to console players. Another requirement is that the five participants are complete Game Pass newbies. You must not have subscribed to the service in the past (source: Xbox Wire).

This is how Game Pass works on trial
Game Pass owners can easily request the trial codes from the Home Menu. Then your friends have 30 days timeto redeem the offer. Each year on January 1st, the five codes will also be refilled. However, you cannot forward them to the same friends again.
14 days should be more than enough time to try out some games in PC Game Pass. The trial version caters to the newbies all the benefits of the regular subscription. This includes membership to EA Play and Riot Games’ PC games.
Many games for Xbox and PC even land directly to the release in the subscription. However, the recently released Redfall isn’t doing very well with fans. Luckily, Microsoft has a few more gaming highlights on offer in May.
