Just a week after the safe “Red Bull” double victory in Baku, it’s off to Miami at the beginning of May, where the competition will probably only fight for the last place on the podium. This is the schedule for the first of three F1 races in the USA.

All times for practice, qualifying and races in Miami

Miami is located in the US state of Florida and is therefore almost at the other end of the globe. The times for all sessions from Friday to Sunday are therefore shifted to the early and late evening in Germany. So that you don’t miss any of the three training sessions, qualifying or the race, you can find them here Miami Race Weekend Schedule with all important data:

  • 1st free practice on Friday, 05 May: 7:30 p.m
  • 2nd free practice on Friday, 05 May: 11:00 p.m
  • 3rd free practice on Saturday, 06 May: 6:30 p.m
  • Qualifying on Saturday 06 May: 10:00 p.m
  • race on sunday, 07 May: 9:30 p.m

After the race weekend in Baku was organized in a completely new format, the classic variant will be switched back to in Miami. So there are three training sessions and qualifying for the race will take place again on Saturday – the sprint and the additional qualifying for it are also eliminated. Still, we can expect the new format to return for some other races on the calendar.

Formula 1 is currently not exactly characterized by excitement, solely and solely the battle for the drivers’ championship between the two “Red Bull” drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez comes to a head. Can Pérez keep up with Verstappen’s pace over the entire race calendar and is the competition really as hopeless as in the first four races? You’ll only find out if you tune in and take out the “Formula 1” subscription at Wow. Unfortunately, the pinnacle of racing doesn’t happen anywhere else.
