Metal Slug Tactics – -apkrig
The Japanese series Metal Slug has established itself in the genre of side-sighted shooters, where you would rather look for some more tactical elements in vain. This is one of the reasons why the announcement of Metal Slug Tactics at this year’s E3 was quite a surprise, as the camera moved over the heads of the pixel heroes to an isometric view and their fights back to the tensile plane on the grid.
However, Studio Leikir is well aware that Metal Slug makes Metal Slug primarily stylization. As part of yesterday’s Nintendo Direct band, the creators showed the first shots of the game, which show that Metal Slug Tactics will retain its iconic characters and their arsenal, including the SVX-15D combat mech. Marco, Eri, Fio, Tarma and their Peregrine Falcon Squad will return, each with their own tree of abilities and attacks, which will be combined for the ultimate combo.
You can also count on the roguelite element, which ensures a portion of replayability. In addition, the individual wheels will be relatively short, so if you fail, you can quickly jump back into them. The musical accompaniment to the game will be composed by Tee Lopes, the author of the soundtracks to Sonic Mania or Streets of Rage 4.
Metal Slug Tactics has not announced a release date yet, the game has not yet been announced for PC and Switch.
