After the update is installed, users will be able to use the built-in assistant to send text messages, make voice calls, and read messages via Facebook Messenger. The new version of the software also allows the user to use the device to request the device’s current battery capacity or control media playback, such as pause playback, skip a song, and adjust the volume.
The company said it implemented the update gradually, but insisted that it reach all users as soon as possible. It also confirmed that it is preparing other major updates in the near future with a number of new features. Although she did not specify when exactly, some of them are expected to come as early as next year.
