Mercedes-Benz and Google have announced an extensive cooperation. Geodata and route planning from Google Maps should help drivers to get to their destination better and faster. For this purpose, the Mercedes navigation system will be expanded to include Google functions. The YouTube app is also included.

Mercedes and Google cooperate on navigation

In the future, Mercedes-Benz and Google will work together when it comes to in-car navigation. The far-reaching cooperation is intended to “Next Generation Vehicle Navigation” make possible. The focus of the joint work is the integration of Google Maps into the navigation system of the German car manufacturer (source: Mercedes Benz).

Mercedes speaks of in this context vehicle-related geodata and route planning functions, which will be provided by Google in the future.
