Marvel hit now has a release date on Disney +
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is currently still in cinemas in Germany. The Marvel hit will soon find its way into the streaming offer – the release date for Disney + is now officially known.
November will be a real festival month for Marvel fans: On November 3rd, the brand new superhero team The Eternals will have its first appearance on the big screen, while on November 24th the series Hawkeye will celebrate its premiere. In addition to these two MCU highlights, fans can also look forward to the streaming debut of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on Disney + in the same month – the martial arts blockbuster will be available to subscribers from November 12th be available for free.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings started in cinemas in Germany on September 2nd – So a little over two months later, the film will be streaming on Disney + be available. So Marvel is pursuing a different strategy than with Black Widow. The super agent film with Scarlett Johansson was released on Disney + just one day after its cinema release, albeit only via paid premium access. This tactic, however, provided not everywhere for enthusiasm – Least of all with Star Johansson, whom Disney recently sued for the unusual on-demand release.
Disney +: Home for Marvel’s Phase 4
MCU fans can expect timely releases of the new Marvel films on Disney + in the future as well. However, the next few months will still have to show which strategy the company will prefer in the long term. A lot will be there depend on box office box office results. These numbers will ultimately determine how long MCU films can be seen exclusively in theaters before they land on the streaming platform.

With Shang-Chi, a brand new MCU hero joins the roster on Disney + on November 12th. With numerous other projects from phase 4, the streaming platform will have a lot in store for superhero fans this winter.
