Marvel darling should die in Multiverse of Madness
Wizard Supreme Wong has been a fan favorite of the Marvel Universe for many years. But apparently the producers of Multiverse of Madness toyed with the idea of letting the master of Kamar-Taj’s mystical powers die before the film was even finished. At least that’s what bloody concept drawings that have surfaced recently suggest.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is probably one of the MCU’s most extraordinary films. Compared to most other flicks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is significantly more brutal and sometimes disturbing scenes to see. Nevertheless, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness got an FSK 12 rating in this country.
But whether this would have been awarded if a recently published concept drawing had made it into the film as a scene is highly doubtful. can be seen there Wong’s corpse, the top half of which is missing. A bloody mass oozes from his skull, which is probably intended to represent his brain. Warning, the picture is not for the faint of heart:
It is not clear who exactly might have led Wong to this cruel fate, but it is reasonable to assume that the Scarlet Witch would have been responsible for it.
Just looking at the trailer makes it clear how different Multiverse of Madness really is:

Incidentally, not only Wong almost fell victim to the Scarlet Witch in Multiverse of Madness. We know from a storyboard graphic that the idea was also toyed with Having Mordo beheaded by the Scarlet Witch:
Ultimately, however, the film’s producers decided not to push Wanda’s body count any further. After all, several corpses are already paving the way of the Scarlet Witch scarlet. Probably the irrepressible murderous lust of the Marvel heroine would not have been particularly well received by many viewers.
