Makers of television classic ‘Zaai’ hint at comeback
At least, if it’s up to the makers.
Sow senior
The writer of the program, Paul Groot, tells in Kunststof on Radio1: “We now have a plan to make Zaai 35 years later, so Zaai senior.” Still, not everyone is enthusiastic about the idea. “We think it is a very nice plan, but the VPRO does not want it and neither does broadcaster Max.” Paul would be talking about this with the same actors as 25 years ago.

Villa Backside
Zaai was featured in the VPRO program Villa Achterwerk from 1998 to 2003. Cabaret duo Plien and Bianca played Irma and Ingrid. The popular postman Siemen was played by Joep Onderdelinden.
