Magical retro shooter delights at gamescom debut
A new shooter celebrated its premiere at the Microsoft presentation at gamescom with a promising trailer: Into the Pit seems to take an example from great models like Doom and combine them with powerful magic spells.
The reveal trailer for Into the Pit promises one action-packed shooter full of occultism and merciless fire fighting, where your hands are your greatest weapon – you seem to be shooting submachine-gun-style spells straight from the palms of your hands at your opponents.

At yesterday’s Microsoft presentation the reveal trailer for Into the Pit will convince fans of fast-paced horror shooters: The game from developer Humble Games features intense fire fights in which you fire your magic in the form of volleys of fire directly from your hand like a hail of bullets.

The game obviously takes the combat mechanics, the soundtrack and the look as an example from the classic shooter Doom and mixes it up with the concept of a roguelike, in which you have to slaughter yourselves in several rounds through the hell-like surroundings – and you will certainly make full use of your different magic abilities.
Shooter highlight for Doom fans appears for Xbox and PC
Game Pass members can already look forward to the game, because Into the Pit will be as a day-one release for subscribers immediately after publication be available. The game is expected to be released on October 19 this year for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Into the Pit seems to be worth a look for fans of Doom, witches and other brutal and action-packed fantasy shooters, at least judging by the first trailer. Visually, the game definitely makes you curious.
