Mac mini 2021 gets new Apple M1X chip and gets thinner ‘

Mac mini 2021 renders show new design
The Mac mini 2021 renders have been put online by Jon Prosser. Fixed iPhonedreaders will recognize this name, as Prosser regularly shares accurate information about unannounced Apple products.
This time he has managed to get his hands on alleged renders of the new Mac mini. According to Prosser, Apple will release a new version of the compact desktop computer in 2021.
The Mac mini 2021 would have a slightly different design than the current variant. Prosser claims the new version has a thinner aluminum body with a glossy finish on the top. The top would be made of glass.
The current Mac mini (with M1 chip) has few connections, but that is about to change, according to Prosser. The Apple insider claims that the new Apple desktop has no less than four Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI connection and Ethernet input on the back.
The desktop computer is also being tackled under the hood. Prosser reports that the Mac mini 2021 is powered by the M1X chip. This one is homemade by Apple and is said to be much more powerful than the current M1 chip. The hardware is also more energy efficient.
According to Prosser, the M1X processor is also coming to the new MacBook Pro, which would also appear later this year.

Release and availability
When the new Mac mini comes out, Prosser does not announce. He does indicate that the desktop computer will be released this year. The Mac mini 2021 may be presented together with the iPhone 13. Apple’s new phones will likely be unveiled this fall.
The new MacBook Pro is rumored to arrive much earlier. There are increasing indications that the new laptop will already be announced on June 7, simultaneously with iOS 15, the new iPhone software update.
