LoveFrom: Jony Ive’s Design Company Has Its Website
Lovefrom, the design company founded by Jony ive and Marc Newson, is now entitled to an official website. I’ve come a long way since leaving Apple. The star designer of iMac, iPhone and Apple Watch is making a name for himself far beyond the Cupertino company. LoveFrom recently signed an important partnership with a subsidiary of Ferrari, and therefore now has its own site, with a visual style (necessarily) ultra stripped.
In fact of the site, it is rather a global description page of the company: no information is displayed on the site except a long presentation text: “LoveFrom is a collective of creatives. We are designers, architects, musicians, filmmakers, writers, engineers and artists. You might know us from our past work. We are obsessed with the traditions of creation and manufacture. Fanatically dedicated to excellence. Insatiably curious. We collaborate with leaders and founders. We work on the projects for the joy it brings. We develop our own ideas. Love and fury ”.
The LoveFrom collective currently includes Jony Ive, Marc Newson, Peter Saville, and also two former members of the Apple design team, Chris Wilson and Antonio Cavedoni.
