Likes in Stories and mood in profile picture
A new feature is in development for Instagram. The photo service is working on a like button for the Stories. We get an idea of what this will look like in the Instagram app. In addition, there will be a new mood emoji for your profile picture.

Mood in profile picture
The same developer shares another new feature for Instagram. It should be possible to set a status, which can be recognized by an emoji. This is only visible to friends for a period of 24 hours. The feature should work independently of Instagram’s Threads app.
