Like an iPad mini, but with Android
Realme is planning a tablet that can pass as a cheap Android variant of an iPad mini from Apple. Now, some new details about the Realme Pad Mini have surfaced. It should therefore not come close to the performance of the Apple version.
Realme Pad Mini: The Android iPad in mini format
With the iPad mini, Apple has a variant of its blockbuster in its range that is also satisfied with smaller dimensions. The Chinese manufacturer Realme will soon try to follow in the footsteps of the iPad mini. Some specifications for the planned Realme Pad Mini have now become known. Now we know more about Processor, memory and the cameras.
According to a new certification carried out in Thailand, the Realme Pad Mini can LTE as a mobile communications standard bypass (source: GSMArena). It can also be assumed that a WLAN version will come onto the market in addition to the LTE variant. For the processor, the manufacturer has opted for a Unisoc SoC that has not yet been described in detail, which is supported by 3 GB of RAM. You can’t really expect top performance from the mini tablet.
Much like the larger Realme Pad, which was released in September 2021, the Realme Pad Mini also touches on Android 11 as operating system. A small difference can be found in the cameras. Here, the small variant relies on the combination of 8 MP at the front and 5 MP at the rear. The Realme Pad has 8 MP on both sides:

In terms of price, the small Realme tablet should leave nothing to be desired. Although the manufacturer has not yet given the sum, the Realme Pad with a 10.4-inch display is extremely cheap (see Amazon). With the Realme Pad Mini is rumored in March or April 2022 to be expected, even if the manufacturer has not yet officially announced a date.
