Lidl sells gravel bikes at a reasonable price
Gravel bikes are very trendy. The combination of racing bike and mountain bike is incredibly popular and is considered a good way to be able to be on the road on really all surfaces. If you don’t want to buy an e-bike for a lot of money and want to be a little healthier anyway, you can buy a gravel bike from Lidl.
Lidl sells gravel bikes for 799 euros
Not only e-bikes are particularly popular at the moment, but also the so-called “gravel bikes”. Many bicycle manufacturers now have this type of bicycle in their range and adapt the frame geometry specifically for this relatively new class of bicycle, which has carved out a place between racing bikes and mountain bikes. Just such a gravel bike sold Lidl just for 799 euros (look at Lidl).
If a racing bike is too sporty for you and a mountain bike is too exaggerated, then the gravel bike is just the right bike for you. There is a Version with a 55 cm frame, which should be perfect for people who are around 180 cm tall. 28-inch wheels, mechanical disc brakes and a 2×8 derailleur are used. You should get along well in the city, on gravel paths and on small climbs.
The frame of the Lidl gravel bike consists entirely of aluminum. More expensive models usually have a carbon fork to dampen the vibrations. But the thicker tires also do quite well, offering good grip off-road and relatively low rolling resistance on the road.

What good is the Gravel Bike from Lidl?
The Gravel Bike from Lidl is a basic model, but at the price it has its right to exist. Many gravel bikes for beginners cost between 1,000 and 2,000 euros. Really good models also like to go in the direction of 3,000 to 5,000 euros – or more. If you’re just looking for a slightly sportier bike that you can ride on a variety of surfaces, then this is a really good deal. I myself have had a gravel bike since the winter and really enjoy riding it around.
